Do I need the membership to participate?

No. Everyone is welcome at SNOW.S.U events, even without a membership. Membership is designed for people who want to get even more out of the club through added perks, priority access, and exclusive opportunities.
If I don't need a paid membership why is there one?

Membership is the best way to level up your SNOW.S.U experience. It is built for members who want to be more involved, save money on club offerings, unlock exclusive benefits, and be part of a more connected community within the club.
How long does the membership last?

Your membership is valid for the full academic year and remains active through the end of Spring term.
I just paid for my membership how long until my account on Discord is updated?

If your Discord access does not update automatically, fill out the waiver and the password will be displayed on the end screen. Then enter the password in the discord channel.
Are there any other perks?

Q: Why do I need to sign a waiver?
A: This helps protect the club in case anyone gets hurt and allows for us to operate on mountain events.
Q: Does everyone need to sign the waiver?
A: Yes its a requirement to be a Member of SNOW.S.U that participates in ANY of our activities.
Q: Do I need to Join on Ideal-logic?
A: We would appreciate if you did, The more people we have on Ideal-logic the more funding we are able to access from the school for on campus events
Q: I missed the password to join the discord what should I do?
A: You can send one of the officers a message in discord to remove the “needs to enter password” role

A: The paid membership helps bring value to the members, such as on mountain tailgates! More funds means more funs
